It's laundry day! If you are in need of support to get your laundry done volunteers from Barrie Families Unite and Ryan's Hope will be on hand at Coin Laundry, St Vincent and Penetang from 4-8pm. They will provide you with soap, fabric softener, and coins to get your laundry done. They also have drinks and snacks and are friendly people to talk to why you wait for your laundry to be done. We are still looking for a local business to sponsor this much needed program. If your business is interested in sponsoring this initiative or learning more contact us. For a family struggling to pay rent and put food on the table clean laundry becomes a luxury they cannot afford. We need your help! Due to the rising cost of food and the slowing down of financial donations we have had to cut the number of Good Food Boxes we are purchase each month. This was heartbreaking for us as our friends really rely on this gift each month. We often have people tell us that without their Good Food Box or the fresh produce we provide at Breakfast-To-Go they would not have access to any fresh fruits or vegetables. You can help us though. How? You can visit Barrie Good Food box and designate a box to be allocated to Ryan's Hope . You can do this by ordering the regular one month, or three-month option on their website, instead of the Pay It Forward option. Order the regular one or three month option and then In the "Alternate Pick Up Name" section, indicate "Ryan's Hope" so it is allocated for use on pick up day.
