I just bought a prepaid card from the Walmart on the north side to get tickets for Halloween haunt tomorrow as part of my child’s birthday celebration. When I went to use it, I discovered that it had already been activated back in December 2023. I’m understandably upset since I’ve just lost $280 on a card that was already used. This is so frustrating! As a single mother trying my hardest to make things special for my kids, it feels unfair to encounter this issue with used cards on the shelves. I also called customer service and was asked personal questions that didn’t relate to my problem with the card. What steps can I take? #arealsadmom
