Hi I just wanted  to let everyone know that a guy is Breaking into cars on Wellington St W  I have notified the police  please make sure your vehicles are locked I took the picture at 3:54 am Source

Around 9 pm last night my family including child were startled by a huge bang by our front door. We quickly jumped . Our child was extremely terrified..screaming and crying (toddler). As our child I believe seen someone but but we looked and there was nobody around so we continued on with our evening. This morning as my partner left for work he noticed that somebody had actually attempted to kick in our front door!!!..they would have opened the screen door first to do this.... It's off its hinges. Were a little shookin up knowing someone may have attempted to break into our home. We are wondering if this has happened to anyone else in the area.. Grove/Peel. We are are a normal family and can't think of anyone who would do this or why we would be a target for anything like this. Source

Essa and Athabaska area. Just a reminder to keep your car doors locked at all times. My doors were locked so fortunately they could not get in but they did damage trying to get in. I would recommend taking any garage door openers out if your cars as well if not needed. Just in case they do get in, they can steel the openers and come into your home at a later date Picture added of what my handle was like. They used a special tool so they know what they are doing. Stepson got his bike stolen today from planet fitness on Bayfield. Cops won't do anything, Canadian Tire doesn't want to look at camera's. Was between 12 and 1 this afternoon. There were 3 locks cut so only assuming they got more than 1 bike.

This morning at 12:16am two people tried to kick our door in Anne St N & Austen Lane. If anyone has footage or knows these two, please reach out!

Do you recognize this man? This unknown suspect is wanted in an ongoing Barrie Police Service theft investigation involving a south Barrie box store. The thefts have occurred between March and May and involve power tools. Please email [email protected] if you can help. Source

Just an FYI I made a post a few days ago about my bike being stolen at Walmart on Bayfield Street. After the police report went through today, I became aware that Walmart does NOT have cameras outside near the bike rack area by the garden centre! DO NOT LOCK YOUR BIKES THERE! Also still looking for bike below.. or any leads on person who stole it at this point! Source

If you live off of Roslyn rd and rose st please check youre cars as I was walking up rose to Duckworth street and witnessed what looked like a robbery, was unable to get picture of license plate all I know is that it was two younger looking kids driver had a grey Hyundai lights turned off, looked like the guy was coming from one of the corner houses.
