More and more of barrie citizens are running the school bus lights. Or thinking the amber lights mean speed up and quickly pass when infact it still means you are to stop! the amber lights is a warning system that lets drivers know that you have till our red lights start flashing to stop your vehicle before it becomes a serious offence or worse… you seriously injure a kid crossing. This is a major concern and our police can only do so much and same with the school bus drivers. All it takes is one person in a rush to go no where. One person to pretend they don’t see the lights or hear the horn and in a split second, you have changed the lives of yourself and the families of the child/children you could potentially kill or seriously harm. LETS DO BETTER BARRIE a for the safety of all our children!! Source

Our Cat Felix (grey and white) has been missing since Saturday January 21 morning. We are very worried and his feline brother and 4 human brothers are quite upset. We are on McVeigh .. close to Wallace Dr, Cundles, Wiseman crt. We are worried someone has him, trapped him or he is hurt. He’s only 1 1/2 hrs old. Source
