A reminder to pet owners, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS IN THE CAR!!! Today at Georgian Mall Barrie two dogs were left in a vehicle for over an hour, while it was 26°C. One window was cracked about an inch. While working, I went outside to collect shopping carts and checked on the dogs, that we had been informed about by several customers. They were panting heavily and were showing signs of extreme distress. Our store paged the owner of the blue Volvo 3 times asking them to return to their vehicle, and we asked every customer in the store if they drove that car. We never found the owner. Police were called, nobody came. After an hour since we first heard of the dogs, I saw through the store window, the vehicle driving off. No consequences. Dog owners, do better. Barrie Police, do better. Those dogs could have died, and if they are alive, they are definitely having health problems after that. Source

Male, neutered and is chiped but may have an old phone number. Short hair black cat with a few white hairs on his chest.
