I’m helping a family friend and hoping for some feedback.

I'm helping a family friend and hoping for some feedback. There is a senior female (80's) looking for a condo like Amica Little Lake that has lots of amenities but there's also medical assistance, concierge, good social activities and a positive environment. She is still quite independent but mobility is causing more issues as time goes on. Looking for recommendations from people who have loved ones who are or have experience in these facilities. Fortunately, money isn't an issue for them which helps. Lifelease or purchase. Thanks. Source

So, don’t get me wrong, I am VERY thankful for the Barrie Food Bank

So, don’t get me wrong, I am VERY thankful for the Barrie Food Bank and their resources, but I’m starting to think they may not check the food the receive. If it’s close to the date or just soon after, that’s fine with me. But back in my May trip, I had received a big freezer bag full of dry soup. I thought AWESOME!! Until I checked the dates. They were all due in 2019. So I ended up chucking the bag immediately. Everything else seemed fine but up until today found two more items that were expired. The chef boyarde, expired last year. Maybe it’s still good, but I doubt it. Now the Sidekick here, I don’t necessarily blame them as there is no date on it. So I looked up the product. None sold or made since atleast 2005. Meaning this had to have gone bad anywhere from 2005-2007. (Given most dried goods last about 2 years) So I have right now, an almost 10 year old food item that I cannot consume. 🤣 Maybe keep it for novelty? Lmao So to anyone who goes to the food bank, PLEASE che…

So just a post about the waterfront and the trail

So just a post about the waterfront and the trail…I roller skate the trail. There is no water source at all anywhere. Where are you supposed to refill your container? In the disgusting bathrooms that are never open? the only other opinion is purchasing a plastic bottle at the snack shack for $5. Also at night most of the trail is non lit up with half their lights burned out. DO BETTER BARRIE!!!!!! Source
