Please delete if not allowed A bit of a sad post😞 I found an injured squirrel on Friday in my parking lot, I ended up taking it to the Bearcreek Sanctuary to hopefully get it some help. Unfortunately I got an update today that the little guy passed away about 15 min after I brought him in from severe head trauma! It makes me sad that he passed away but I’m so glad he didn’t die alone on the road and was able to die comfortably since they told me they gave him pain meds as soon as he got there! A neighbour who saw me rescuing the squirrel told me to let it die but I wouldn’t have the heart to do that if I know I can maybe save it. Source

I recently had my garage broken into with all the expensive stuff stolen. My Honda Red generator, my blue air compressor, my concrete vibrator, my Black Roof top cargo box taken a good number of things in these pictures were taken from me. I have been searching online to see if someone is selling this stuff online. The garage is from the wasaga beach area but this guy that tresspassed and stole my stuff. I could use some help if people keep an eye out for the area around Wasaga beach including Barrie someone could be selling my stuff. Source

Not a concern: But when the city representatives come and deliberately put scores on your road and fill them in with liquid asphalt, what are they saying? They are going to repave a perfectly good road for no reason? Just wondering, I am perplexed 🤔 Source

A reminder to pet owners, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS IN THE CAR!!! Today at Georgian Mall Barrie two dogs were left in a vehicle for over an hour, while it was 26°C. One window was cracked about an inch. While working, I went outside to collect shopping carts and checked on the dogs, that we had been informed about by several customers. They were panting heavily and were showing signs of extreme distress. Our store paged the owner of the blue Volvo 3 times asking them to return to their vehicle, and we asked every customer in the store if they drove that car. We never found the owner. Police were called, nobody came. After an hour since we first heard of the dogs, I saw through the store window, the vehicle driving off. No consequences. Dog owners, do better. Barrie Police, do better. Those dogs could have died, and if they are alive, they are definitely having health problems after that. Source
