I would like to ask any Barrie residents that are as upset as I am about the paid parking lots in all medical buildings across our city to please consider emailing Doug Downey at the below email. You could also send emails to Alex Nuttel and your Ward councillor; all of their emails are on the city of barrie website.
I am not sure how it is legal to charge residents these absurd parking fees to receive medical treatment in Barrie. These companies from other parts of the world have purchased the lots and we should all rise up together and REFUSE to allow this to happen. Ontario medical care should be FREE, and nobody should be refused medical care if they cannot afford to pay for parking.
