Update speaking with Jeanette Mays of Barrie Police Communications, Barrie Police were called to the Georgian Mall at 8pm this evening for a reported armed robbery, involving 6-7 suspects who smashed glass display cases and fled in a stolen white SUV. One individual suffered minor injuries and was attended to on scene. Although it is believed that no shots were fired, a firearm may have been seen in the possession of the suspects.The investigation is in its very early stages and more details will be provided as the investigation progresses. Anyone with information is asked to contact Barrie Police.
