Well, up until now, I’ve only heard how crappy the new garbage and yard waste collection is, until now. The City of Barrie please explain what we are to do here. Because there is no longer a designated pick up date for yard waste and we are to have it out at the curb by Monday at 7am, it can sit for a few days. That means, if it rains, it sits in the rain awaiting to be picked up. So, my bag was half full of grass clippings and they didn’t take it. As a few others our street experienced as well. So…should we leave the bags only 1/4 full just in case it rains and they don’t want to lift them? What a waste.
