I’m really concerned about the new homeless shelter being set up in the east end of Barrie, especially since it is located near multiple schools. While I get that these shelters are necessary, I think it’s crucial for the community to be part of the conversation. We need to ensure that there are adequate support services and security measures in place to protect everyone, including our children. Let’s push for more transparency and open discussions so we can find a solution that works both for the residents and the shelter occupants
