ATTN Andrew Hunter Elementary Parents. This morning while coming up to the crosswalk on Leacock, this young girl walked out infront of me. She didn’t hit the button to cross, didn’t look both ways. With the amount of pedestrians being hit in this city i am worried about what I witnessed this morning. She had a black and daisy backpack. Please if you know her, have a talk about road safety. Luckily I pay attention and drive the speed limit, but as we know not everyone does and I’d hate to see anything bad happen especially to a child. Source

Hello friends of Fresh Food Weekly, I’ve decided that yesterday was our last delivery day

Hello friends of Fresh Food Weekly, I’ve decided that yesterday was our last delivery day, as I can’t keep running the program on my own anymore. I do have a plan on what my next steps are, and that includes figuring out a way to get funded like all the other charities do. Thats why they exist: they have funding which allows them to hire staff. I’m going to be reaching out to all our program recipients, volunteers, suppliers, donors, and other community partners over the next few days to let everyone know.
