It looks like as of September 2025. The city of Barrie is going to have these automated large carts for waste and green bins. 😡 What about people that don’t have the ability to store them or seniors or people with disabilities? I think this is very poorly thought out and it’s not going work well. They’re probably going to charge us for this as well too on our property, taxes or water bill. Thoughts anyone? I know when they implemented this in Simcoe County back in 2021 when Barrie was exempt lot of residents were not happy with the changes. Source
