Does anyone know who can be contacted regarding the plaza at Grove with the Tim Hortons? The lights on the far side of the plaza have been not working for at least two years and driving in there at night it’s incredibly dark. It’s hazardous to not only people who just dart out but also the pavement is in horrendous shape. You’d think for safety purposes they’d want to ensure there was functional lighting…. Source

I preface this complaint with the fact I have spent over 17 years driving in Toronto. Barrie has by far the worst drivers I have seen. Specifically people with larger trailers on the backs of vehicles merging and changing lanes. There is not a day that goes by where someone with a trailer does not cut me off assuming I should drive on the shoulder or ditch to accommodate their taking over the lane I’m in 😳 Source

Hi everyone. 2 weeks ago a gift from my mom she got me were stolen from La Fitness in park place when a friend of mine accidentally pulled them out of my bag and left them when getting her things and I wasn’t aware. They were left in the small class studio part of the gym where there’s no cameras and they were stolen from there. I’ve been through the ins and outs with La fitness so this is kind of my last resort. There’s no cameras In or around that part of the gym. I just throughly I’d post here in case anyones children or anyone they know suspiciously turned up with a very expensive and limited edition pair of beats headphones. There were young guys - teenagers left in the gym area at that time. If anyone suspects someone you know stole them I would greatly appreciate if you’d let me know. Took a walk along the lake this evening and came across a set of BMW car keys

Took a walk along the lake this evening and came across a set of BMW car keys on a black lanyard with white writing on the path. Belonged to a white BMW parked in the old hooters parking lot and we turned the keys over to Barrie police. Hoping they get returned to the proper owner and happy they didn’t get into the wrong hands considering the area. Source
