Can we talk about the Tim’s drive-thru at the Barrie South GO?

Can we talk about the Tim’s drive-thru at the Barrie South GO? Who on earth designed this thing? On your way into the drive-thru line from Yonge, you’re competing with people entering/exiting the drive-thru itself, the Tim’s parking lot, and the cars exiting the Mr. Lube. Not to mention you’re blind from cars coming in off St Paul’s until you’re pretty much in the line itself. They should just restrict access from Yonge St altogether and divert the line up to St Paul’s. Source

Not a concern! But Barrie animal people help me out so I know more for next time, I was trying to help this guy cross the road and he was the most friendliest turtle. I assume he isn’t a snapper because they usually have a horned nose and didn’t even try to bite me! Perhaps I am wrong but happy to report he made it to the other side with some assistance. LETITA HEIGHTS !! Someone broke into 2 of our vehicles last night … ya ya “make sure your doors are locked” mine normally is. Make sure you check yours. They went in the passenger door and left it slightly open. But they stole my wallet. Tried to use one of my credit card at the petro Canada on Dunlop and ferndale. I got a text at 5:10 so not sure exactly what time they stole it. Between 10 and 5 I guess. I am looking to see if anyone finds a wallet. Or health cards for 1 adult and 3 kids(one has passed away). As well as kids debit cards with their pictures on them. I honestly don’t know what else I had in there as I don’t use it often. Just keep it in my car so I always have our stuff. I’ll attach a picture of what my wallet looks like. Source

Received an Amazon gift card as a gift along with the receipt

Received an Amazon gift card as a gift along with the receipt. Upon opening it, seems someone had tampered with it, the security cover on the internal code literally fell off in one piece. Upon entering the gift card number into my Amazon account the system informed me that the balance had already been used by another account. Dispite the fact that I have the receipt and am obviously the one who can prove ownership of the card, neither Shoppers Drug Mart in the Wellington St. Plaza where it was purchased or Amazon will do anything about it. Save your money, someone in this store is running a scam. Source

Any reason we are the only ones on the road whose garbage and compost

Any reason we are the only ones on the road whose garbage and compost was not picked up? It wasn’t even opened so it was obviously not even touched. Was it too far from curb? lol I’m trying to figure out the reason. Nothing was heavier than usual. Who do you call in this situation? Edit: called Emterra. They checked video and said it was driver error. They will come collect later or tomorrow morning. Source
