[ad_1] Having trouble finding the reason on google, so I'm enlisting help, does anyone know why the city would have dumped loose gravel on Lillian crescent and seemingly oil as well? Nearest I can find is some method of road repair from the 50's involving gravel and tar. If it was road repair, it's strange since Lillian is nowhere near as bad as other roads in the city. Edit: they need to do it to John st. Also, I find it amusing they left the potholes untouched. [ad_2] Source

Tonight, at 7:12pm in the Shopper’s Drug Mart plaza at the corner of Essa & Fern

[ad_1] Tonight, at 7:12pm in the Shopper's Drug Mart plaza at the corner of Essa & Ferndale, my black SUV was rear ended by a man in a white t-shirt and dark shorts, driving a royal blue Tesla with a blacked out grill and no front license plate (believed to be a Model 3) who FAILED TO REMAIN at the scene. There is likely damage to the Tesla is on the driver's side rear bumper/quarter. He was parked right in front of Shopper's Drug Mart and backed into my vehicle (while I was in Shopper's Drug Mart) - which was parked in the next row of cars out. He returned to my car to take pictures of my license plate and the damage - then promptly fled the scene. Looking for witnesses and/or anyone with information about the vehicle or the driver. Please message me directly with any information you may have. ***Thank you to the gentleman in the silver car from the other side of the parking lot who was kind enough to wait for me to walk out to my vehicle and inform me of what happened …

Hey again everyone!

[ad_1] Hey again everyone! It’s me again, from Fresh Food Weekly… So we’re looking for some volunteers to help us with some raspberry picking at Barrie Hill Farms next week on Wednesday, July 20th beginning at 8am! We need to pick 60 half pints! So hopefully we can get a lot of help next week! Right now, there’s a 60% chance of lightning that day, so we’ll obviously cancel if that happens, but we’ll make the call that morning. The weather forecast is likely going to change a trillion times by then anyways! We’re also looking for some more delivery drivers to help out with delivering our July meal boxes later on in the day that day. We’ll be putting the meal boxes together at Countryside United Church beginning at 2pm and will start doing the deliveries between 3-3:30pm. If you would like to help out with either the raspberry picking or meal box deliveries, or both, please send me a PM 😃 we need all the help we can get!! … here’s a quick video of the strawberries we picke…

Just a heads up!! To anyone going to Dorian Park in Midhurst

[ad_1] Just a heads up!! To anyone going to Dorian Park in Midhurst (highway 27) please be careful using the washroom!! There is a spider that looks like it could be a black widow, right above the door! I had talked to someone else who said they reported it to the town, but I’m not sure what was done about it. I honestly was a bit skeptical, but after seeing for myself and what google lens had to say, it looks like it could be.
