How ridiculous. The city of barrie is out salting the roads

How ridiculous. The city of barrie is out salting the roads in preparation for the freezing rain etc however the salt is not scattered across the lanes but rather all the mounds of salt are on either the yellow lines or on the white lines between lanes not even on the area that the cars drive on. Now how is that going to help any of us???? What a waste of tax payers $$$ Source

I was at zenetec car wash located at 499 veterans dr

I was at zenetec car wash located at 499 veterans dr , Monday November the 6 at around 1:00 I had vacuumed out my vehicle I had taken out my brand new car seat and placed it on the pavement I went to go wash my mats which was at the end now within 3 minutes someone had come and stolen my sons car seat . I am posting here to in any hope that the person who had taken it could please return or if someone sees this same exact one for sale anywhere to please message me . I do not my any means have any money to purchase another one and can’t even take my son out now as I don’t have a car seat this was just purchased last week I am beyond devastated and can’t even understand how someone could do this . I am praying this post will get out and my car seat will be returned please 🙏🏼 Source

My parked vehicle was hit between last night and this morning

Hi All… My parked vehicle was hit between last night and this morning (Tuesday November the 7th and Wednesday November 8th) at the corner of Nicklaus’s dr and Hanmer st east in Barrie. If you know of who may have done this or who maybe missing a piece of their bumper or fender I would really love to have a chat with them 😀. The other vehicle seems to be black as well (see piece on ground from photos) As I’m not about “getting people in trouble” priority would be to give them the chance to pay for the damages like a decent human being and leave the police/insurance out of it… if they don’t want to cough up I’ll deal with it in my own way 😎 The vehicle was pushed forward about 6 inches… the fender, plate, plate holder, rear door and exhaust all have damage. Stop dumping it on the outskirts of town, yes the dump hours suck and it costs money but its not an excuse to dump it on someone elses street. See people weekly tossing junk out of there cars/ trucks and then taking off. Source

Couple of things to note here: * Had 0 interaction with this person prior * No question that Yellow light was long, I had my dog standing in the back seat and didn't want to make any sudden movements at that time * When they passed me I was going around 60 and accelerating, apparently that wasn't enough...even if they didn't want to be in that lane anyway Source
