At least 2 months ago we alerted the city staff about a sign on our lawn

At least 2 months ago we alerted the city staff about a sign on our lawn on Innisfil Street that states "MAXIMUM 50 BEGINS". The issue with this sign is that it is in a Community Safety Zone. Fifty paces away is the intersection with Marshall Street. Marshall Street rightly has signs indicating it is a Community Safety Zone with Maximum 4O signs posted. There must be some logic behind the sign on our lawn. Sadly no one from the city staff has let us know what it is. Source

Hi there! My father went for a walk today (Saturday April 27th)

Hi there! My father went for a walk today (Saturday April 27th) My father goes for walks to clean up the litter every weekend, so he walked behind the Leacock plaza, directly behind O'Sullivan's animal hospital and found these beautiful Roller blades. Please let me know if you lost your roller blades, or if you know of someone who lost them. They are absolutely beautiful! ☺️ Source

An easy guide to the changes in garbage collection for Barrie starting May 1st

An easy guide to the changes in garbage collection for Barrie starting May 1st... 1. Do you live in one of the orange areas on the first photo? If NO: Skip to the third photo, find your area (day of the week and A or B) then see the May calendar (4th photo) to get yourself back onto the two week schedule. If YES: Find out what area you live in (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5) in the first photo. Find the corresponding numbered row on the second photo to find out how your curbside collection will work this week. At the end of the row it tells you your new collection day and A or B schedule, as well on the map (3rd photo). Then see the May calendar (4th photo) to get yourself back onto the two week schedule. I hope this helps as I've seen a lot of confusion for this upcoming week. Source
