This piece of trash broke into a car in my driveway last night at 9:14pm. On caroline street. Anne and Essa area. Took a wallet, an iPad, a bunch of other stuff but went and emptied out the bank accounts and took thousand’s off credit cards immediately at TD. If anyone has any cameras in the area if you could please take a look, and send me whatever you have! Source

Hey there neighbours! We are looking for my son's bike that was stolen on Tuesday night from our backyard. It was locked up, but they managed to destroy the lock. It is a fat tire Toronto Maple Leafs bike. Our backyard opens onto Ferris in Barrie's North end. We know it is a long shot, but it never hurts to put it out there to have more eyes on the look out for it. This isn't the best picture of it, but it is better than nothing. Source

Truck was broken in to on Wednesday morning around 2:30 am at the Collier St parkade...took tools and other things...that's my toolbag he's got in his left hand. Also took keys and documents. Cash Reward for the keys and papers if found. Apparently he frequents the downtown area around city hall. Please DM me if you have some info. I know the photos don't show his face but the sweater is distinctive. We have a description of this face: scruffy, light brown to fair hair, blue eyes, 5'8 to 5'10. Slim build. Would appreciate some neighbourly assistance with this. The keys are useless to anybody but me. Thank you! Source

Just curious to see if anyone else has encountered this yet of receiving text messages claiming that you haven’t paid your ETR bill if you have been on the 407? We haven’t been on since early Fall of 2023 and we paid that bill (will confirm with bank) my kiddo also received same text, so I am ignoring it for the moment. But also wanted to share for those who may have been on the 407 then get a message like this when you know you paid your bill. Happy Saturday Barrie residents! Source

This is a new type of scam They say they're out of town and they'll send you the money so you hold that item for them but it doesn't come up as e transfer threw your email or text it comes in on messager... just wanted to let people know before they put they bank account info into that cause then they will have ur card number and password.
