Just wanting to bring awareness to the community that CTS Canadian Career College Barrie Campus has a Massage Therapy Program Student Clinic on the South end. The program is just over two years old, and as the program coordinator, my goal is to see our students succeed, while supporting the community.
Our students are currently offering massage appointments for $30 +HST at our campus on Bryne Dr.
Wednesday and Thursday afternoon/evenings are available at this time.
This is a practical learning environment for our students to build their clinical skills, apply critical thinking to massage therapy concepts, and learn from your lived experiences, under the guidance of an RMT clinic instructor.
We are small in numbers right now, but they are eager to learn. We have some students soon to graduate, some learning assessment skills/while honing into their palpatory skills, some finding their flow, and some who will be starting with us this Spring! And probably some pulling their hair out too; it’s a jam packed program, like this post! 😂
We also do Outreaches in the community – We attended Barrie Dragon Boat last year (and hopefully future events 🤞💕), we attend Southlake and Soldiers to massage nurses, doctors and support staff, and we have an event with Gilda’s Club coming up. And I am always looking for other ways to give back.
So, if you have back pain, headaches, cool scars, acute or chronic injuries, limitations in movement, or anything a few geeks like us would find interesting, come say “Hi” and get a massage.
