This post is appearing in random groups around Barrie but, none of the details make sense. The poster is from Texas and is not a person, it’s a page called “News”. Not allowing commenting on their posts, also messages don’t go through to them.
What is the motive for making a fake post like this?
I tried to help them provide more details by sending this message “Hey, i saw your post about your missing son Brendan Thompson I’m really sorry to hear about this, and im am very concerned for you and your son. There seems to be some missing important info. Firstly, where around barrie do you live or did he go missing? Are there any landmarks he likes or is familiar with like, a park, plaza, walking path, or anything?
Also, what EXACT time did he go missing? Its 4 am and you posted this 3 hours ago at 1 am. You stated he went missing 8 hours ago which would be 5 pm, but you also said that he went missing this morning.
Also, you turned off commenting which is going to disable the ability for people to co-ordinate info with eachother to help others find him.”
