As this has broken me into tears for days having to post this and will be taken very seriously (hence the LONG post) but, I am needing to REHOME TWO female cats, Bella and Luna. They are the most affectionate & lovable cats you will ever meet and have both been through a lot as at one point they were all I ever had. Bella is a 3 year old diluted torti calico who loves playing fetch, snuggling under blankets, and will melt your heart with the amount of cuddles and love she has to give you. As she has become more dominant and sassy at times over the years it is believed she may be better off as a single cat now due to her anxiety. Luna is a 2 year old affectionate, playful tabby who loves anyone that will pet her, she enjoys lounging anywhere she can fit, especially in boxes and will always be the first one checking out the food you’re eating (especially if it’s a hotrod). Just witnessed the craziest thing at Dunlop and Anne intersection

Just witnessed the craziest thing at Dunlop and Anne intersection. Was coming out of my car by the popeye's and heard what I thought was a blown tire or fireworks but quickly realized was a gun shot. I looked towards where it came from and I see two unmarked black cars pull up in front of the pet grooming place and a bunch of police officers come out wearing swat/special ops gear tackle a person to the ground. I don't know what it was about and couldn't see much but maybe the dude walking his dog or the guys on his motorbike are here and can give more détails! What is happening to Barrie! That gun shot sure freaked me out! Source

Barrie Housing asked me to remove this post because people might want to harm this woman. So I’m going to remove a lot more details so it’s impossible to figure out who she is at all. Since posting this, there’s been an outreach of support, including a program for the eldest son to go out paint balling for the day, all expenses covered, a social worker wants to personally help her and another woman has paid for her meal box. So I’m going to remove all details but keep the story because I need to fundraise more money. A few nights ago, I encountered a young boy who looked upset. He asked me to call the cops because his step dad is beating his mom. Of course I called 911. Shortly after, I met his mother and we started talking - she has four kids, and she admitted this wasn’t the first time he’s been physical with her as well.
