Hi everyone. I am asking for help from anyone who may have information, accident photos, or dash cam footage of a 3 car accident that occurred on Monday, May 6th at around 3:40pm on Highway 400 NB near the Dunlop St W exit.
A blue car (sedan like) came to a sudden complete stop in the right lane, and my father was just about able to stop in his SUV (seen in the first two pictures) just in time, but unfortunately the SUV (the third picture) behind him wasn’t able to stop in time. My dad is not even sure he made contact with the car that stopped until he was rear ended by the car behind him. When my dad was hit from behind, his car pushed the blue car from behind and into the guard rail.
Now, why am I asking for information or footage? Because the person in the blue car took off immediately and did not remain on scene.
So please, if you are the person who caused the accident, please come forward. If you are someone who knows the person who caused the accident, please come forward. I don’t care if you’re trying to protect your friend/child/sibling whatever, this person didn’t care to protect anyone on the road, including my family.
And if you are the person who caused the accident and you’re reading this, my father, my 10 year old sibling, and the elderly lady you didn’t give a care in the world about are all doing okay. Their vehicles are write offs, but thankfully their lives are not. The OPP have the pieces of your car you left behind. I hope you gain a conscious and come forward, but if not I’m hopeful karma will come back around for you.
