A bit of a sad postđ
I found an injured squirrel on Friday in my parking lot, I ended up taking it to the Bearcreek Sanctuary to hopefully get it some help. Unfortunately I got an update today that the little guy passed away about 15 min after I brought him in from severe head trauma!
It makes me sad that he passed away but Iâm so glad he didnât die alone on the road and was able to die comfortably since they told me they gave him pain meds as soon as he got there!
A neighbour who saw me rescuing the squirrel told me to let it die but I wouldnât have the heart to do that if I know I can maybe save it.
