I got this text yesterday and immediately something felt off.
First, there’s no reason my account should be on hold.
Second, even if there was, TD do not reach via text for such matters.
Third, the number isn’t TD customer service number but is very similar.
Finally, if you get a text like this from any bank, and you want to double check. Call the number on the back of your card. Never call the number in the text or reply back.
