(St Vincent &grove area) On Friday night around 10.30pm

(St Vincent &grove area) On Friday night around 10.30pm I was sat in my living room and someone came up to the window and knocked on it, I was home alone with my daughter and was not expecting any guests.
I looked out but could not see anything as it was so dark, I locked all my doors and called the non emergency police number. They attended and scanned the are but couldn’t see anyone.
Just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience?
It was a really scary thing to happen when your a woman on your own.
